trying to achieve some aspect of focus and hierarchy in the closet. the pattered wall was enough to made it look less defaulted, and an actual light fixture would be out of place considering the level of finish in the rest of the room. i needed something that looked casual and almost happenstance but still had the geometry and nuances of a hanging chandelier-like fixture. hanging antique bottles was my first idea, and my favorite. I was also going to try hanging shards of glass (dulled for safety) but the bottles seemed to achieve more or less what i am going for: ease, yet a suggestion of more.

after making this, i realized i never wanted to part with it. I also realized I would never be able to ship it successfully. no matter, it is now mine.
