‘entablature’
in finding out that my elementary school would be ripped down, I found it would be a great reason to come upon some architectural ornament. I originally wanted to glean both the pediment and entablature, but problems arose. the entablature was of course being from a different time, too well made, and impossible to pry from the building. the pediment however was already taken off the building and thrown inside the vestibule (note the absences of the curly ornament). I collected these pieces and when I have the right space for them, will have it reassembled, quietly dissatisfied and mournful that I couldn’t get the whole piece.
